The latest issue of “Sippizine” includes the work of ten writers and artists from across the South Coast.

The community culture journal, launched in 2023, encourages South Coast residents to interpret an idea from many perspectives. The theme of Sippizine’s third issue is “running.”

Marion, Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Dartmouth, Westport and Fall River residents are represented in the issue. To read Sippizine online or buy a print copy, visit sippizine.art.

“The mix of poems, prose, photography and cartoon make Sippizine a lot of fun to page through,” editor and publisher Alanna Nelson said in a press release.

Sippizine is supported in part by grants from the Marion and New Bedford Cultural Councils, local agencies that are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
