MATTAPOISETT — Due to a Governor’s Advisory, Mattapoisett will hold a video recorded public presentation on improvements for Industrial Drive, but will not have a public meeting. 

The presentation will be broadcast on chanel 95 on Comcast and chanel 38 on Verizon on March 18 at 6:30 p.m. 

On March 3, Congressman Bill Keating announced that Mattapoisett received a $735,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration to to support new business and create 200 local jobs in the town’s industrial park. 

The town had planned to spend $1.4 million to reconstruct the road that runs through its Industrial Park and other business areas, and this grant represents half of that funding.
