MARION — The First Congregational Church of Marion is hosting Vacation Bible School Aug. 15 to 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the church community center, 28 Main St.

The school is open to children who are entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the fall.

This year's theme is "Make Waves," emphasizing the local beach communities. Activities include arts and crafts, telling of Bible stories and snacks.

Registration forms are available at the church office at the Community Center or online at MarionFirstChurch.org. Registration fee is $25 per child.
