ROCHESTER — The Senior Center will hold a Veteran’s Supper on Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. The Council on Aging will thank and honor all veterans, but will particularly honor Gordon Helme, a member of the Senior Center Board of Directors who has also served as the Veterans Agent and Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Elders volunteer. Helme served in the Navy until 1971. 

The supper is for Rochester Veterans and their families. The menu will include ham, beans, coleslaw and a cake for Gordon. The Senior Center has mailed invitations to all of the Veterans on their list. Rochester Veterans who did not receive an invitation should contact the Rochester Senior Center so that they can be added to the list.
