The Sippican Historical Society is looking for volunteer “citizen archivists” to transcribe oral history interviews in the society’s archives.

Volunteers will help turn these gems of Marion history into searchable documents for the historical society’s database.

The Sippican Historical Society is also looking for volunteers to staff its shop this spring and summer, as well as any photos and documents recording the history of Marion’s Cape Verdean community for the archives.

The photos and documents will be scanned and returned.
