MARION — The Elizabeth Taber Library is asking for help to choose the “most distinguished” picture book of 2024 in the library’s “Mock Caldecott Award.”

Kids and adults of all ages are invited to stop by the library between Jan. 2 to 23 to browse the nominees and vote for favorites.

The library winner will be announced Friday, Jan. 24 shortly before the American Library Association announces the actual Caldecott Medal winner.
