The Buzzards Bay Coalition will host a free guided walk at The Bogs in Mattapoisett on Sunday, April 3 at 1 p.m.

While walking, visitors will learn about the history and ecology of The Bogs, part of the Mattapoisett River Reserve. A Buzzards Bay Coalition property, this property hosts diverse wildlife and habitats, including retired cranberry bogs.

The walk will run about an hour. Participants should meet at the parking area at 138 Acushnet Rd. in Mattapoisett.

“Sunday Strolls” take place on the first Sunday of each month at a different conservation area in the region. These walks are part of the Coalition’s Bay Adventures series: Programs designed for explorers of all ages to get outside and discover Buzzards Bay.
