Waltz to the dance academy

MARION — The Marion Art Center Dance Academy is offering winter sessions on Mondays from Jan. 27 through March 3. Classes for preschoolers ages 2.5 to 5 will go from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., ages 5 to 8 will have class from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and ages 8 to 10 will have class from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

These classes cost between $105 and $150 for members and between $120 and $175 for non-members. Classes can be joined at any time with classes pro-rated.

This academy provides dance instruction in ballet, tap, and jazz and also touches on contemporary, hip-hop and gymnastics.

The spring sessions will begin on March 4 and end on June 9 and will cost between $205 and $295 for members or between $235 and $345 for non-members.
