MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Town Clerk’s Office has licensed almost 1,100 dogs in 2023 but there are over 300 unlicensed dogs still in Mattapoisett, announced the town in a press release. 

The Town of Mattapoisett requests that dog owners either register their pet or inform the town if their dog has moved or died.

As of June 1, a late fee of $10 has been added to the annual fees of $9 or $12, depending on whether a dog is spayed or neutered.
