Witches of the Marion Art Center host Halloween Parade

MARION — For one afternoon board members and volunteers from the Marion Art Center turned into friendly witches to help out with a Halloween parade on the afternoon of Oct. 31. Under the direction of Hannah Moore, the Sippican Elementary School drummers led the parade south on Front Street, up Main Street, north onto Spring Street and back down Cottage Street to the Music Hall.
When the children returned to the Music Hall, the board members and volunteers handed out 522 bags of candy, with more than 2,600 pieces of candy, to parade participants.
