The Mattapoisett YMCA will host a “Clam Boil by the Sea” on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 38 Reservation Road. Event proceeds will benefit the Y Cares Annual Fund. John Saunders will prepare this traditional New England clam boil that will include lobster and chowder. Local musician Scott Parker will perform. The evening will also include tours of the Mattapoisett YMCA, cash bar, and a silent auction featuring an array of items including gift certificates to area restaurants, boutiques and artwork.
