The Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging will screen “The Hundred-Foot Journey” (PG, 122 minutes) on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at noon. The movie is free and will be shown in the Mattapoisett Senior Center, located at 17 Barstow St.

When the Kadam family leaves India for France they open a restaurant across the street from a Michelin-starred eatery run by Madame Mallory. Mallory’s sous-chef and a member of the Kadam family then start swapping recipes and techniques, leading to a new kind of cuisine.
