Jeffrey Scott Wolfe, 48, of Marion died unexpectedly April 11 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

Born at the U.S. Navy Station in Kenitra, Morocco, he was a previous resident of Newburyport, Rhode Island, North Woodstock, New Hampshire, Port St. Lucie, Florida and Fairhaven. Jeff has been a resident of Marion since 1977.  A graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School, Jeff worked as a carpenter and painter most recently for Davis Painting.

Jeff loved the Red Sox, Patriots and the Boston Bruins.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved snow skiing, boating and especially fishing or shellfish.  To all who knew him, he was a loyal and loving friend.  He was happiest listening to music (no “rap” or “The Boss”) and a bent fishing rod.  He will be dearly missed by his parents, Jerry and Carol Wolfe of Marion and Englewood, Florida.

He leaves a daughter, Mia of East Bridgewater; a sister, Cathi Possick and her husband Mitchell; his nephew Evan, nieces Leah and Dana all of Bridgewater.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
