Christmas posters from the fifth grade classes at Rochester Memorial School are brightening up the holiday season in Rochester Town Hall. In keeping with tradition, the posters were delivered to Town Hall on Dec. 3 and hung with care along the main hallway by Administrative Assistant Amanda Baptiste.

On Monday, Dec. 7 the winning artist will receive a gift certificate donated by Matt’s Blackboard at Plumb Corner and the honor of lighting the town's Christmas tree at the annual ceremony. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature performances by the Rochester Memorial School's choir and band. The occasion ends with a visit from Santa Claus.
