Tri-town residents cast a spell in "Cinderella"
Old Rochester Regional High School senior Camryn McNamara will be among the tri-town ballet dancers in the New Bedford Ballet's performance of "Cinderella".
McNamara is cast as the evil stepmother to Dartmouth resident Victoria Cameron's Cinderella. She also provokes the comedic antics of the evil stepsisters, played by Caroline Mello of Dartmouth and Ari Sweet of Marion.
The New Bedford Ballet's "Cinderella" will be performed at the Zeiterion on June 10th at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev and the choreography of artistic director Rebecca Waskiel-Marchesseault, along with ballet instructors James Brown and Eugenia Zinovieva, dancers of all ages will bring Cinderella's story to life, in celebration of New Bedford Ballet’s 30th anniversary.
Reserved tickets are $22, and general admission prices are $17 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and children. Special group rates are available for non-profit organizations. Tickets can be purchased by contacting New Bedford Ballet at 508-993-1387.
