Marion and Brewster EMS responded to a single car crash on I-195 westbound Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred in the area of Exit 21. Police reports indicated that a single car skidded off the road and into the trees of the median. The incident was reported around 1:50 p.m.

According to emergency broadcasts, Massachusetts State Police and Brewster EMS were first on the scene. Marion EMS also responded. The driver was transported by ambulance with injuries. The car was reported to have heavy damage.
