Motivational speaker Chad Hymas to visit Old Colony
Chad Hymas, a well-known motivational speaker, will be speaking at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School on October 5.
Hymas' lecture will begin at 7 p.m.
In 2001, at the age of 27, Hymas' life changed in an instant when a 2,000-pound bale of hay shattered his neck, leaving him a quadriplegic. Hymas, refusing to be defeated, set a new course.
As a member of the National Speakers Association Hall of Fame, he travels as many as 300,000 miles a year, entertaining audiences around the world. He has visited hundreds of professional and civic organizations, including Wells Fargo, Blue Cross Blue Shield, AT&T, American Express, Prudential Life, and Merrill Lynch.
All funds will support the newly-established Old Colony Educational Foundation. Students who present a student ID attend for free to encourage a family night out.
