Residents get creative in Marion Halloween Parade

Nov 1, 2017

Marion's Annual Halloween Parade kicked off on October 31 with a rousing drum routine, played by the Sippican Elementary School Styxx Drum Corps.  The Drum Corps led the parade, accompanied by director Hannah Moore, who played the largest drum herself.

She directed goblins, wizards and even an aspiring Tom Brady in the parade, which is organized every year by the Marion Art Center.

Behind the Drum Corps came a multitude of parents and children, all dressed to the nines; alongside the usual ghosts, goblins, wizards and princesses were sharks, chickens, Mario and Luigi and even a zombie policeman.
