The Plymouth County Register of Deeds will be in Mattapoisett on May 24.

Register John R. Buckley Jr. will hold office hours from 10 a.m.-noon in the conference room at Mattapoisett Town Hall.

Buckley Jr. and his staff will be available to answer questions about any registry matter. Information concerning the Massachusetts Homestead Act will be available,  as well as on-site work stations that can provide the status of a mortgage discharge, a deed print-out, or a demonstration of how Registry of Deeds technology works.

No appointment is needed.
