ROCHESTER — The Rochester School Committee welcomed several new Rochester Memorial School teachers and staff members at the school board's Aug. 29 meeting.

Rochester Memorial School Principal Derek Medeiros introduced Forrest Cote as the new sixth grade teacher, Shannon Mulcahey as the new school psychologist, Gina Muse as the Grade 3 severe disabilities special education liaison, Jennifer Murphy as the Grade 6 special  education liaison long term substitute, and Jennifer Hunter who rejoins the school as a registered behavioral technician paraprofessional.

Medeiros also introduced Donna Aberay as Rochester Memorial School's new school secretary. She replaces long-time RMS secretary Diane Lagasse, who retired at the end of the last school year. Aberay previously worked as a school secretary at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical School.
