Marion Natural History Museum December events

Dec 2, 2021

MARION — It’s almost 2022, but the Marion Natural History Museum still has two more events on its schedule for this year.

On Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 10:30 am to 11:30, the museum will host a workshop about tick-borne diseases with Blake Dinius of Plymouth County Extension Service.

The program will cover tick biology and tick-borne diseases as well as personal, pet and yard protection strategies.

The program is free and in-person at the museum. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and masks will be required.

On Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 3:30 pm to 4:30, the museum will host a holiday party after school at the museum.

Visitors can have fun designing gifts with natural and recycled craft materials.

Depending on health restrictions at that time, the museum will be offering snacks and drinks to fuel the creative efforts.

The cost will be $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers.

Masks are required.

Pre-registration is required. Please go to www.marionmuseum.org to register.
