ROCHESTER – The First Congregational Church of Rochester, located at 11 Constitution Way, has announced its Christmas worship schedule. All gatherings will also be live streamed on their website, www.rochestercongregational.com.

• Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. – On this First Sunday of Advent, the church will light the Candle of Hope as they wait for Christmas Day when they will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ..
• Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. – On this Second Sunday of Advent, the church will light the Candle of Peace as they remember their need for a Savior to save them from sins and give peace with God.
• Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. – On this Third Sunday of Advent, the church will light the Candle of Joy as they remember again God’s gift of Jesus to the world.
• Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. – On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, they will light the Candle of Love as they recognize the love that sent Christ to earth to pay the price for sins.
• Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. – During this candlelight Christmas Eve worship gathering, the church will light the Christ Candle as our waiting comes to an end and we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
• Dec. 25 at 10 a.m. – On Christmas Day, there will be a sermon on how Jesus illuminates life with glorious light.
