Five area poets will read original work at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library on Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m., as part of Poetry Month, sponsored by Webster Bank.

Elizabeth Farrell of Marion, Deborah Corbett of North Dartmouth, Pat Gomes and Tim Reed, both of New Bedford, and Margot Wizansky of Mattapoisett and Brookline will be featured at this event.  Refreshments will be available. The public is invited to this free event located at 7 Barstow Street in Mattapoisett village.
