Rochester shooter held without bail
ROCHESTER — Rochester resident Cody Perry was held without bail at Wareham District Court on Monday, April 10 following the shooting of Justin Doberck on Friday, April 7.
Cody Perry shot Doberck, a Mattapoisett resident, as a result of an argument involving Cody Perry’s sister Haley Perry, who had been dating Doberck for “three to four years.”
He is being held without bail at the Plymouth County House of Corrections.
Perry’s probable cause hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 10.
According to a statement taken by Rochester Police Officer Scott Smith, Cody Perry claimed that Doberck threatened him and his sister.
Doberck was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:15 p.m., according to reports.
