MATTAPOISETT — Two candidates are facing off for a seat on the Mattapoisett School Committee.
First-time candidate David Pierre is running against incumbent Carly Lavin.
The Mattapoisett town election will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at Old Hammondtown School. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
