MARION — Enjoy a banquet that taps into the cultural roots of the area with the Marion Social Club.

The club will be hosting a “Portuguese Feast” consisting of carne de espito, grilled linguica, cacoila, chicken Mozambique, roasted potatoes, favas beans, Portuguese-style rice, green salad, Portuguese rolls and assorted Portuguese pastries. The food will be catered by Mike Mello.

The meal will be held Sunday, July 14 at 44 Pumping Station Road. Doors open at 12 p.m. for socializing, with the meal at 1 p.m.
