NOTICE OF A PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

A Public Informational Meeting will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed Corridor Improvements and Related Work on Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Road project in Mattapoisett, MA.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 6:30PM

PURPOSE: The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed Corridor Improvements and Related Work on Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Road project. All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

PROPOSAL: The proposed project consists of the reconstruction of Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Street between Acushnet Road and Route 6 (a total distance of approximately 1.54 miles). The project will include construction of new concrete sidewalks, varying in width from 5 feet to 11 feet wide, on at least one side of the roadway for the entire project length.

This location is accessible to people with disabilities.
