MATTAPOISETT — Escape the heat and dive into history at the Mattapoisett Museum during
Harbor Days.

The museum invites visitors to “to take a refreshing break from the summer heat and enjoy a delightful afternoon of history, culture, and family fun,” a press release said.

From 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, the museum at 5 Church St. will be open with refreshments, air conditioning, and exhibits designed to enhance the Harbor Days experience, according to the press release.

“Discover the rich history of Mattapoisett through our thoughtfully curated exhibits, which offer something for everyone in the family” while enjoying the cool environment of the museum along with complimentary refreshments, the press release said.
