MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Friends Meeting is holding donation drop-off times to prepare for an Oct. 5 yard sale.

Earnings will go towards renovations of the Friends’ community hall, including replacement of rotted fascia boards and adding gutters.

Donations can be dropped off at 103 Marion Road on Saturday, Sept. 21 or Wednesday, Sept. 25 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. as well as Sunday, Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Someone in the community hall will be present to receive the donation.

If those times don’t work, email mattquakers@gmail.com to see about another arrangement. The Friends are seeking clean items — small furniture and ready-to-wear clothing. Large furniture and appliances, electronics and books will not be taken.
