ROCHESTER — Do you have old quilts, clothing, or table coverings that you’re interested in learning how to preserve and care for?

A textile conservator, Kate Tarleton, is presenting a “Preservation, Exhibition, and Care of Antique and Vintage Fabrics” workshop Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Joseph H. Plumb Memorial Library.

Tarleton is a local resident who has worked on historic textiles, costumes and contemporary fiber art for a variety of private and institutional clients for many years, a press release said.

Attendees should, if possible, bring items they have questions about. Space is limited, so registration is asked for the event.
