MARION — Celebrate the shortest day of the year Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. at Elizabeth Taber Library.

During the “Solstice Storytime,” participants will learn why cultures around the world celebrate the winter solstice and will make crafts to bring light to the long night.

The program is intended for kids age 3 and up.
