Two Marion teens charged with sexual assault
The Marion Police Department arrested two Marion teenagers who were charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl on Tuesday, August 21.
Andre Ware and Xavier Rose, both 18-years-old, were charged with aggravated rape, rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, according to police reports.
Ware was also charged with an additional count of assault and battery, according to police reports.
The victim was invited over to the home of one of the suspects on Whynot Court in Marion, where she was then assaulted by the suspects, according to police reports.
Both subjects were held in custody until their arraignment on August 22.
Sgt. Jeffrey Tripp, Det. Scott Smith and Officer Alisha Chandler conducted the investigation.
