MARION — The First Congregational Church of Marion’s annual Summer Lobster Roll and Baking Sale is coming soon. This fundraising event takes place on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Penny Pinchers Exchange at 39 Main Street, Marion.

Lobster rolls will be sold for $25 each and are limited and can be preordered. Those who preorder can pay at the Church Office at 144 Front Street Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or at Penny Pinchers Exchange at 39 Main Street on Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The deadline for preorder is Sunday, July 20 and cash, credit cards and checks are all accepted.

The bake sale will take place in front of Penny Pinchers Exchange and will include desserts, homemade pies, cakes, cookies, candy and more. Stop by for some dessert to top of the lobster roll lunch or to get some treats to take home for later,

The Chapel Cafe in the Community Center will also be open and air conditioned, offering seating to enjoy lobster rolls, cold drinks and live entertainment.

The air conditioned Penny Pinchers Exchange will also be open and cooking up some surprises. Shop for clothes, household goods and many other finds.
