Preschoolers will meet with the librarian for stories on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. or Fridays 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Parents can join in after story time to help with crafts.
Tot Time at the Mattapoisett Library
A new group is forming at the library for moms, dads, grandparents, nannies and anyone who is caring for a child. Drop in at the library on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to enjoy time with other parents and caregivers, with children. Babies welcome! Share a song or game that your child enjoys, learn about the parent resources at the library, or just chat and exchange ideas with other adults. No registration is required--just come! A librarian will be available to assist with book selections, tips on reading to your child, and other resources.
Download Ebooks with Ease
Stop by one of the free e-reader workshops to learn about how to download e-books to your e-reader, iPad or smart phone. Library staff member Elizabeth Sherry conducts workshops on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Friday afternoons at 3 p.m. Bring your own device or try one at the library. Everyone is welcome. Assistance is also available by appointment by calling 508-758-4171.
