“The Fox on the Fairway” POSTPONED until further notice

Mar 7, 2020

CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 HEALTH UPDATE 03/12/20

The Marion Art Center has made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone our upcoming production of The Fox on the Fairway. After speaking with the Marion Board of Health, and following the actions of other cultural organizations in our region, we realize this is the right decision to ensure the health and safety of our members, visitors, volunteers, and performers.

We recognize the incredible amount of time and energy the director, cast, and crew have put into bringing you an amazing experience at the MAC. We are working closely with all parties in an effort to reschedule the production for a later date. All tickets can be refunded or held until the next show, and we invite you to contact the MAC directly with any questions or concerns.

We will continue to post updates on our website and through social media, and we will send additional email updates as we know more.  We are grateful for your continued support and understanding as we combat the spread of this virus.

A tribute from playwright Ken Ludwig (Be My Baby) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, The Fox on the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp, which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with...golf.

A limited number of cabaret tables are available (seating for four).  Attendees may bring their own refreshments.
Reservations are strongly recommended.
