‘Spring Sings and Strings’ at the Marion Art Center

MARION — Celebrate the changing of the seasons with the Marion Art Center at their upcoming ‘Spring Sings and Strings’ concert events.
Musician Aoife Clancy will perform on Friday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
Clancy’s music is inspired by her father Bobby Clancy who was a member of the “The Clancy Brothers” and introduced her to ballads and traditional Irish music.
Tickets for this show are available online at marionartcenter.org/events and cost $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
Saxophonist Marcus Monteiro and guitarist Donn Legge will perform two shows on Friday, May 9, each starting at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Legge is a well known guitarist across the South Coast, performing with groups such as the South Coast Jazz Orchestra and Blues Train while Monteiro is known for his musical intensity and improvisation.
Admission for these performances cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members and can be purchased online at marionartcenter.org/events.
