Six Marion and five Rochester residents will participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge, a two-day biking event, to raise money for cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The ride, scheduled for Aug. 7 and 8, has sixteen route options across the state, ranging from 25 miles to the full 211 mile ride.

Participating from Marion are: Jeffrey Dickerson, James Forker, Bob Holmes, Stacey Perry, Bill Tilden and Ryan Noonan. Participating from Rochester are: Debora Bacchiocchi, Sarah Bernier, Sheila Kozlowski, Keith Riquinha and Lazaro Rosa.
