A 2017 review in photos
Dec 27, 2017
With 2018 days away, Sippican Week took a look in the archives to find some memorable photographs from this past year.
Captured in photos were events from high school hockey games at the TD Garden in Boston, to an overturned mailtruck, Fourth of July reworks in Marion, and Mattapoisett resident Jill Zucco becoming Miss Massachusetts (and competing at Miss America!)
Everyday moments were captured as well, including fun afternoons with the Sippican School Garden Club, yacht races in Marion and Mattapoisett and ice-skating lessons at Tabor’s ice arena.

How did this happen? This topsy-turvy mail truck flipped over on Wolf Island Road in February, when the driver hit a stone wall, drove over another rock, and drove into a fire hydrant. The driver, though sheepish, was uninjured. BY GEORGIA SPARLING
