Dr. Melanie Bikis has joined the staff at the Marion Animal Hospital and brings a strong interest in veterinary ultrasound, ophthalmology, and dermatology.

Prior to joining the animal hospital, Bikis worked in California, Maryland, and Cape Cod. She graduated in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary.

To further her education, she has attended continuing education courses in abdominal ultrasound, dentistry, and more recently in surgical wound repair and oncology.

As a native New Englander, she said she is happy to be back in Massachusetts, closer to her family. In her spare time, she enjoys running, kayaking, swimming, and taking long walks with her yellow lab Lizzie.
