MARION — From seasonally designed window boxes, urns and planters to wreathes, greens, garlands topiaries and ornaments, the Marion Garden Group works hard to improve the town.

What started as an annual private auction at the St Gabriel’s Parish Hall has grown into a public event held at Marion Music Hall. This years Boutique will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the Marion Music Hall on Dec. 8. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as popular items could sell out.

Members begin making unique crafts and ornaments as early as October. Their efforts culminate in “Greens Week,” during which wreathes, arrangements, greens, centerpieces, garlands and table toppers are created. Items start at low at $3 and the group accepts credit cards.

The Marion Group accepts donations any time of year to help support its town beautification efforts.
