MARION — Learn about invasive plants with the Sippican Lands Trust on May 4 at 10 a.m.

Mike Bald, owner of Vermont’s Got Weeds?, will give tips on how to remove invasive plants like the Japanese knotweed, Japanese barberry and Oriental bittersweet.

After the talk, there will be two site visits at Sippican Lands Trust properties for a workshop about invasive plants.

The talk and workshop are free and no registration is required.

If the event is canceled because of weather, news of the cancellation will be posted to Sippican Land Trust’s website and Facebook page.
