MATTAPOISETT — On Sunday, Sept. 8 from 2 to 3 p.m. the Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host former Mattapoisett resident Jack Matthews to talk about his mystery-thriller “Arte Perdida.”

The novel features Mattapoisett as one of the locations that Manny Pereira, a decorated and disabled Vietnam war veteran, visits as he races to find a killer.
