The Marion Concert Band will present “The Best of Broadway,” a concert featuring music from Broadway musicals, on Friday, Aug. 15. The program will feature songs from “The Sound of Music,” “Les Misérable,” and more. Tracy Gendreau will sing “They Can’t Take That Away from Me” by George Gershwin. Gendreau is a cantor at the Holy Name Church in Fall Ricer and teaches musical theatre at the Onstage Academy of Performing Arts, also in Fall River. The concert, under the direction of guest conductor Tobias Monte, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Robert Broomhead Bandstand, Island Wharf off Front Street in Marion.
