Bike rodeo gets kids ready to pedal

The streets of Mattapoisett will be ringing after Wednesday's bike rodeo. Sponsored by the Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path and held at Center School, the rodeo got kids and their bicycle's ready for safe summer cycling.
Volunteers tightened brakes, pumped air in tires, examined helmets and taught kids how to use hand signals.
Kids also got a bike bell, a light up taillight and a popsicle.
