In 2009, the Marion Art Center hosted a gallery exhibition entitled “Birds, Beaches & Bogs,” and on Friday, June 19, the center brings “Birds Beaches & Bogs II.”

Local artists, Sarah Brown, Heide Hallemeier, Molly Watson Hawley, Gail Marie Nauen, and Michael Ouellette will exhibit paintings in pastels, oils, watercolor, and acrylic.  Mike McCarthy, of Mattapoisett Bird Works, will exhibit his carved and painted shore birds.

The exhibit will have an opening reception on July 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members and guests are invited to come and meet the artists. Refreshments will be served.
