MARION — Need to get a boat blessed? Join Marion Harbormasters on Saturday, July 1 at 10 a.m. for the first “Blessing of the Fleet” in Sippican Harbor.

Vessels with flags or “full dress” are encouraged. Participants should stay at the mooring or dock and prepare for the event to start at 9:45 a.m.

Participants can monitor VHF Channel 68 for event instructions. Boats should be under power until leaving the inner harbor. Vessels will head south in the channel and exit the harbor. 

Clergy will be on Nye’s Wharf between Red #8 and Green #7.
