The Mariner Youth Soccer Under-18 Boys team will proceed to the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions after defeating Nantucket, 2-1 on Wednesday, June 14.

Mariner Tim Finnegan scored the first goal of the game, but Nantucket. reached a tie score with just a minute left in the first half.

Ben Lafrance made a long run in late in the second half of the game, crossing a pass to Logan King for what turned out to be the deciding goal of the game.

The Massachusetts Tournament of Champions will be held in Lancaster, MA, on the weekend of June 24-25.
