MATTAPOISETT — While many holiday events happen on the weekend, the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging will bring a little midweek holiday cheer with their Holiday Luncheon. This year’s luncheon will be held at noon on Dec. 13 at the Knights of Columbus, 57 Fairhaven Rd., Mattapoisett. 

The Friends invite community members to enjoy  French Meat Pie, mashed potatoes, veggies and dessert, and time with St. Nick. The event will also feature music and a 50-50 raffle.

Reservations are required and can be made at the COA reception desk. The Friends also request that diners bring a new unwrapped toy, which the Mattapoisett Police Department will donate to Gifts to Give.
