Kids aged 8 and up are invited to the Mattapoisett Historical Society to engineer their own toy boats using recyclable materials. Once the boats are constructed, there will be an opportunity to check out whether or not they are seaworthy.

The event is Friday, July 26 at 1 p.m at the Mattapoisett Historical Society, 5 Church St. Registration is encouraged.
