Buy a book during spring sale at Elizabeth Taber Library

Apr 21, 2024

MARION — The Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library will sponsor a spring book sale on the lawn of the library on Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thousands of books, all in good condition, as well as puzzles, games and DVDs will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Elizabeth Taber Library’s summer reading program.

Also on Saturday, May 11, the library will present a lecture at 11 a.m. on “Remarkable Natives for Beautiful Gardens!” by Kerry Ann Mendez. Sign up for the free event — co-sponsored by the Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library and the Marion Natural History Museum — at the library.

The Elizabeth Taber Library is located at 8 Spring St. in Marion, and parking is available on the street or behind the library. The Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library are always welcoming new members to join and also have volunteer opportunities for those who might be interested.
